On Progressive Censored Competing Risks Data: Real Data Application and Simulation Study

چکیده

Competing risks are frequently overlooked, and the event of interest is analyzed with conventional statistical techniques. In this article, we consider analysis bi-causes failure in context competing risk models using extension exponential distribution under progressive Type-II censoring. Maximum likelihood estimates for unknown parameters via expectation-maximization algorithm obtained. Moreover, Bayes approximated Tierney-Kadane MCMC Interval Bayesian classical techniques also considered. Two real data sets investigated to illustrate different estimation methods, compare suggested model Weibull distribution. Furthermore, methods compared through a comprehensive simulation study.

Analysis of generalized progressive hybrid censored competing risks data

In reliability analysis, it is quite common for the failure of any individual or item to be attributable to more than one cause. Moreover, observed data are often censored. Recently, progressive hybrid censoring schemes have become quite popular in life-testing problems and reliability analysis. However, a limitation of the progressive hybrid censoring scheme is that it cannot be applied when f...

On progressively censored competing risks data for Weibull distributions

In survival analysis, or in reliability study, an investigator is often interested in the assessment of a specific risk in the presence of other risk factors. It is well known as the competing risks problem in statistical literature. Moreover, censoring is inevitable in any life testing or reliability study. In this paper, we consider a very general censoring scheme, namely a progressive censor...

Nonparametric Predictive Multiple Comparisons with Censored Data and Competing Risks

This paper provides an overview of nonparametric predictive inference for comparison of multiple groups of data including right-censored observations. Different right-censoring schemes discussed are early termination of an experiment, progressive censoring and competing risks. Theoretical results are briefly stated, detailed justifications are presented elsewhere. The methods are illustrated an...

Analysis of left truncated and right censored competing risks data

In this article, the analysis of left truncated and right censored competing risks data is carried out, under the assumption of the latent failure times model. It is assumed that there are two competing causes of failures, although most of the results can be extended for more than two causes of failures. The lifetimes corresponding to the competing causes of failures are assumed to follow Weibu...
